Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Bennett has introduced sweeping proposed changes to how teachers and school administrations earn and keep their right to educate Hoosier children. While a board that oversees teacher licensing delayed its vote to move the process forward, it plans to revisit the issue again later this month. In this report, Indiana Public Broadcasting's Marianne Holland takes a look into what those planned changes are and how they will affect school officials, teachers, and the children they educate.
