Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) discusses energy policy on behalf of John McCain
Virginia Congressman Eric Cantor is Chief Minority Whip in the U.S. House of Representatives and a strong supporter of GOP presidential candidate John McCain. Speaking with WVPE's Tony Krabill, Cantor says Barack Obama's flip flops on opening the strategic oil reserve and offshore drilling show the Illinois Democrat's campaign is "twisted in knots on energy policy." He also outlines McCain's "Lexington Plan," which includes drilling options, as well as renewable energy -- wind, solar, and biofuels -- but also includes clean coal and nuclear energy, for which Obama has not voiced support.
