Follow the true story of The Rouse Simmons, a three-masted schooner famous for having sunk in a violent storm on Lake Michigan in 1912.
"The Christmas Schooner", follows the shipping captain who risked life and limb every year to transport Christmas trees from Michigan's Upper Peninsula to German immigrants in Chicago. Eventually, he needs to decide how much he's willing to risk for Christmas. This critically-acclaimed musical features original music as well as traditional holiday favorites.
