The U.S. Census Bureau released data last Thursday that reveal the new population of cities, towns and other communities across Michigan.

The state as a whole grew by 2% since 2010, now home to over 10 million people. 2020 census update: What are Michigan's biggest population changes in the past decade? 

If you are wondering about the status of your home, use the search bar below. Type the name of any city, township or village. 

Among Michigan's biggest cities, Novi (20%) and Dearborn (12%) saw some of the biggest increases. The Detroit-Warren-Dearborn area saw a 2.2% increase and remains Michigan's largest metro area.As for counties, Wayne and Oakland are still the state's most populous ones. However, West Michigan is the fastest growing region. Ottawa County's population grew the quickest, jumping by 12%. The Upper Peninsula counties saw the highest rate of population loss. Luce County lost almost 20% of its population in a decade, the highest rate of any in the state.
