David Murray

Account Executive (Underwriting)

David Murray was thrilled to join the WVPE staff in April 2017.  As a lifelong listener of WVPE, he often found himself telling stories to his friends that began with a variation of, “So get this… I was listening to NPR and...”  It is only natural that he will now try to share his love of the station with potential new and longtime corporate underwriters. After working with a variety of different media, this is his first opportunity with radio.

David was born and raised in Elkhart and attended Mary Daly Elementary School, Stanley Clark School, and Marian High School; he also studied journalism at Indiana University in Bloomington.  When he’s away from the office, David coaches youth hockey for the Indiana Prospects 16U team, is an active member the South Bend Rotary chapter, enjoys golfing, and loves spending time with his family and longtime girlfriend, Lauren.

As far as WVPE programming, he’s a big fan of Morning Edition, All Things Considered & Marketplace, and Wait! Wait! Don’t Tell Me!  If you’re a decision maker that’s interested in sponsoring great local programming and reaching the best listener audience in Michiana, send him an email or give him a call.

WVPE is "On Top of the World" thanks to YOU!

Mar 29, 2018

Here's a heartfelt (and, yes goofy) thanks from your friends at WVPE for all the support during our recently concluded Spring Membership Campaign. The real heartbeat of any public radio station is listener members, and if you didn't get a chance to make a contribution during our campaign you can do so by clicking the green button up there in the right hand corner.

We made this video (and made absolute fools of ourselves) to say thank you! Enjoy :)
