WVPE is proud to be a media sponsor of the Broadway Theatre League which is bringing the musical Bandstand to the stage of the Morris Performing Arts Center in South Bend.
The show is set in 1945 as U.S. soldiers come home from World War II. It revolves around PFC Donny Novitski who wants to win a national music competition.
The show's creator has won multiple Tony Awards, including one for Hamilton.
You can see Bandstand Friday, Jan. 24 at 8pm; Sat., Jan. 25 at 2 & 8pm and Sun., Jan. 26 at 2pm.
