The Boy Scouts of America has issued a recallfor neckerchief slides that contain levels of lead that exceed federal limits.
Colored enamel on the Wolf, Bear, Lion and Webelos slides contains lead, which is toxic if ingested by children.
About 110,000 slides were sold in the U.S. between February and August of this year. Recalled neckerchief slides can be returned to any Scout Shop or distributor for a replacement.
