The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission will hold three public hearings this month - Thursday, July 11th at the South Bend Century Center, Monday, July 15th at Ball State University, and Tuesday, July 16th at Purdue University Fort Wayne.
If approved, I&M customers would see their electric bills increase by about 25 dollars per month.
I&M is seeking a raise in rates due to higher costs of maintenance and operation and to pay for new construction.
Customers can also submit written comments through the the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor website and by email. Links to both are here:
