WVPE is proud to be a media sponsor of the Michiana Jewish Federation Film Festival May 13th-16th at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center’s Browning Cinema at Notre Dame.
Nine films explore Judaism thru an artistic lens, ranging from accounts of Auschwitz and the Holocaust to celebrations of Jewish food told with a big screen flair.
Founded in 2011, the Michiana Jewish Film Festival (MJFF) has been a growing success in the community. Through its partnership with the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center (DPAC) and the University of Notre Dame, the Jewish Federation brings superb, and sometimes cutting edge and controversial, Jewish-themed cinema to the greater Michiana community.
Due to the festival's continued success, many of the films sell out, filling the Browning Cinema’s 212 seats.
