You never know what you might see when walking along the St. Joseph River in South Bend. Anne Brown captured this image on the morning of October 13th. Anne says she was walking near the South Bend Farmer's Market when her husband, Dean Alvis, spotted a double-crested cormorant sharing a log with two large turtles. She says Dean joked that it brings to mind the famous painting "Washington Crossing the Delaware!”
