South Bend high schools hosting free COVID-19 vaccine clinics for students, family and staff

All South Bend Community School Corporation high schools will be hosting free COVID-19 vaccine clinics in October.

In a news release, the district said it is part of an effort to increase the number of vaccinated students, staff and family members.

The clinics will be offering first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine, and students under 18 will need a signed consent form to get the shot.

Dates and locations are:

·      Adams High School — Tuesday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 pm. to 6 p.m. Second doses will be administered on Tuesday, Oct. 26.

·      Washington High School — Thursday, Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Second doses will be administered on Thursday, Oct. 28.

·      Riley High School — Tuesday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Second doses will be administered on Thursday, Nov. 4.

·      Clay High School — Wednesday, Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Second doses will be administered on Wednesday, Nov. 3.

·      Rise Up Academy — Wednesday, Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Second doses will be administered on Wednesday, Nov. 17.
