The South Bend Schools new superintendent met with parents, teachers, and community members Wednesday morning for the first “Talks with Todd.”
“Talks with Todd” are an opportunity for anyone to share issues or ideas with South Bend Schools Superintendent Todd Cummings.
People who attended this morning's talk expressed the need for more college counselors and emotional support for students.
Cummings said his goal is to always keep a line of communication between the schools and South Bend.
“People have great innovative ideas and so all these ideas percolate and come to one place and we can figure out how we can support the community,” Cummings said.
There will be a second talk tonight at Navarre Middle School at 8 p.m.
They will be held on the first Wednesday of every month and anyone can attend.
