Democrat Pete Buttigieg was back in South Bend, where he is mayor, to open his 2020 presidential campaign office.
Big crowds gathered for the event Thursday at 218 Sycamore Street behind Fire Arts in South Bend.
In greeting the crowd, Buttigieg said, "Think about how far we've come? Y'know it's just six months, not even, since we were in that big Studebaker building inviting people from across the land - telling the whole country - about what this was. We were still trying to get people to say my name. I mean, we still are, but it's getting closer."
