A recent cold spell in the region might be good news to farmers who are still harvesting their fields. Frozen ground means farmers can harvest their fields without worrying if the ground is too saturated from rainfall. Kokomo Grain Company's senior grain merchandiser Michael Silver says that's a welcomed development for farmers because this year's harvest is already running late.
