A crash in Cass County’s Wayne Township Sunday morning claimed the life of Cassopolis man. Deputies with the Cass County Sheriff’s Department say 72‑year‑old Doren Preston was driving east on Dutch Settlement Road near Nubour Street at about 7:40 Sunday morning when his car went off the road and struck a tree. Preston was pronounced dead at the scene.
