Election Day 2020 is finally here. In Indiana the polls opened at 6am and close at 6pm. In Michigan polls opened at 7am and close at 8pm. 

WVPE's Justin Hicks reports that in the first hour of voting there were already long lines at McKinley School in South Bend.

A record 1.7 million Indiana voters cast ballots ahead of Election Day as coronavirus health concerns prompted more use of mail-in ballots and early voting sites.

By mid-morning on Election Day, workers were busy with the processing work in Elkhart County. Workers remained socially distanced as they went about their voting day tasks in Goshen.

St. Joseph County Clerk's office workers spent the day working toward processing the approximately 55,000 early and absentee votes cast in this election.
