“Sundog” is the WVPE Photo of the Week. It was was taken by Phil Sakimoto of Granger. A Sundog is a large circle of light around the sun caused by sunlight refracted through ice crystals in the air. It’s usually only seen in the Arctic, but Phil captured this shot from his home.
