Award-winning journalist Ann Curry will take the stage next in the Speakers Series for The Economic Club of Southwestern Michigan. An Evening with Ann Curry: Being a Tour de Force of Determination and Making a Difference in the World is set for Saturday, Nov. 2nd at 7:30pm at The Mendel Center at Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor.
Curry is the executive producer and anchor of Chasing the Cure on TNT. The show focuses on people suffering from undiagnosed medical conditions around the world. She is a former NBC News anchor and she has covered international events in Syria, Darfur, Congo, the Central African Republic, Serbia, Lebanon, Israel, Afghanistan, North Korea, Iran, Japan, Southeast Asia and Haiti.
