Saturday, December 6, will be our last Friends of the Elkhart Public Library Book Sale of the year and we have saved the best for last.
Any hardcover book, audiobook, DVD or CD with a colored sticker will be half-price (50¢). Any paperback with a colored sticker will be 25¢. We have never had all our books with stickers (books new to us in the past six months) on sale at one time.
In addition, any hardcover book without a sticker will be 25¢ and paperbacks without a sticker 10¢. This sale will probably be the last appearance of books without stickers as we make room for more recent titles.
Also keep in mind we will not have a sale in January, so this is the time to stock up.
We will also have a selection of art work we will be selling. They will be priced as marked.
We will be in the basement of the Downtown Library at 300 S. Second St. in Elkhart from 9am-2:30pm. We accept cash, credit/debit cards and if you are a member of the Friends you can receive another 20% discount off your total purchase. You can become a member as you check out and save immediately.
If you aren’t able to make our sale, visit one of our mini-libraries anytime for free books. They’re at the following locations: Wellfield Botanic Gardens, the Commons area of the Elkhart Aquatic Center, in the parking lot between the Elkhart Clinic and the nursing home, at Jimtown UM Church 59218 CR3, First Congregational Church 26824 CR4 and at the corner of Bernice Drive and CR3 in Jimtown.
