Earth Day Celebration and Weko Beach Clean-Up
Bridgman's Shoreline Resilience Committee invites the public to its Earth Day Celebration and beach clean up. Organized in cooperation with the Great Lakes Alliance, Bridgman is joining dozens of other lakeshore communities in raising awareness about issues about the health of the Great Lakes and engaging in a hands - on activity of gathering and categorizing waste that washes up on the beach. Our featured speaker this year is Anne Smith, Coastal Project Engineer, who has extensive experience with the Army Corps of Engineers and Michigan's Oceanic Laboratory.
