For our March Book Sale this Saturday (March 7), we are piggybacking with the Elkhart Public Library “Prop Swap” event that day. Between 11am-1pm, you may bring a plant to share or take a cutting (propagate) from the plants other local green thumbs will have on hand. The Library will furnish pots, soil and other supplies.
Our Book Sale, from 9am-2:30pm, will feature all of our gardening books at half-price. Hardcovers will be 50¢ and paperbacks 25¢. That will give you several weeks to read about and plan what you want to do in your flower or vegetable garden this year.
But wait, there’s more! Our other specials this month: Any books without colored stickers will be10¢. Any books with either pink or green stickers and any books in our “Last Call” section will be 25¢.
If you are looking for books which have arrived since the February sale, look for Sky Blue stickers. Those and the remainder of our books will be at our regular prices of $1 for hardcovers, CD’s, DVDs and audiobooks. 50¢ for paperbacks.
We still have about three dozen framed paintings priced at $10 each to help dress up your walls.
