We are having a “Last Chance” sale as part of our May Book Sale at the Elkhart Public Library this Saturday.

Books, CDs, DVD and Audiobooks without stickers, those with green stickers or books with pink stickers that have a “X” through the sticker are 10¢. After Saturday, most of those books go away. The stickers are on both the fiction and non-fiction books, so you will have a great selection. There are hundreds.

In addition, all of our regular non-fiction books will be half-price. Hardcovers will be 50¢ and paperbacks 25¢. That covers many categories such as religion, astronomy, physical sciences, medical, health and diet, animals, sports, American history and biographies to name just a few.

We will be in the basement of the Elkhart Public Library at 300 S. Second St. in downtown Elkhart Saturday, May 2, from 9am to 2:30pm. We accept cash, credit or debit cards. If you are a member of Friends of the Elkhart Library you receive another 20% discount. Become a member and use your discount immediately.

If you can’t make it to the sale, remember our mini-libraries. We refresh them regularly and books there are free. Locations are in the parking lot between the Elkhart Clinic and the nursing home, in the common area at the Elkhart Aquatic Center, the parking lot at Wellfield Gardens, Jamestown United Methodist Church and at the corner of CR3 and Bernice Dr. in Jimtown.
