Northern Indiana Artists Inc. will host its annual all member exhibit Jan. 23 through March 18 at Kroc Community Center, 900 W. Western Ave, South Bend.
A reception with awards will be 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. March 18. The judge of awards will be Robert Nowalk, art educator and operator of the Unintended Curator Gallery in Culver, IN. Members are invited to submit one or two works and all will be shown.
Hours for the Kroc Center: 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, closed Sunday. The gallery is in the lower level.
Based in South Bend, Northern Indiana Artists is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of creative art. It celebrated its 80th year in 2022.
Members work in a range of art media, including oils, pastels, watercolors, acrylics, printmaking, photography, clay, metals, digital art and mixed media. Artists must pass an independent jury process to become members.
Meetings are held four times a year, and several exhibits are held each year. More information is found on the web site NIA-art.org.
