“What Can You Do to Fix Our Broken Government?” will be presented on March 12th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the UUFE Hall, 1732 Garden St, Elkhart. This program is open to the public and there is no charge to attend this event.
Dwight Fish, current Elkhart City Council Member, and Mike Puro, former mayor of Goshen, will present information on:
• How your community can take effective action to help repair our broken government.
• What resources are available to combat abuses of our civil rights.
• How your one vote can be leveraged to make a bigger impact.
There will be a Q&A session and opportunities to meet local leaders of various rights organizations following the presentation. Handouts of contact information on elected officials and local organizations fighting for everyone’s civic rights will also be available.
