Mishawaka Mayor Dave Wood has announced he will seek a third term.
Wood has been in the position since 2010. He says he feels this election is important and wants the chance to continue to push for the most efficient government possible.
Candidates for municipal elections can start filing Wednesday and must file by February 9. Primaries are on May 7. The general election is November 5.
