Indianapolis author Ashley C. Ford appeared on All IN nearly two years ago, and was working at the time on her new memoir. Now that memoir is out, and it’s a New York Times bestseller.
Today we spend the hour with Ford to talk about her book “Somebody’s Daughter" about growing up a poor Black girl in Indiana, the messy process of getting older, and reckoning with the truth about her father’s incarceration.
