These last few weeks have been unpredictable and uncharted territory with the COVID-19 pandemic. Now more than ever, our nation is relying on the public radio network to provide the trusted, rigorous, fact-based journalism necessary to sort through this crisis.
Our collective work to provide the stories and facts that matter most is essential for our listeners and their ability to navigate each day.
As a part of public media’s overall public service response to coronavirus/COVID-19, NPR News has developed a new daily podcast, Coronavirus Daily, which launched March 18. Hosted by Kelly McEvers, the podcast will be a 10-minute compilation of the day’s news from the evolving global crisis. The content of Coronavirus Daily will be sourced largely from the daily newsmagazines.
We anticipate publishing Coronavirus Daily at about 5:30 PM ET each weekday.
