Norfolk Southern plans a closure of the highway-rail grade crossing at South Main Street for track work.
The closure will begin at about 9 a.m. on August. 13, and expected to reopen around the last week of November.
Travel south on Main Street will be detoured onto Middlebury Street. Travel north will be detoured to Prairie Street.
During the closure, Norfolk Southern will replace existing track infrastructure through the crossing with new tracks, switches, and signals.
