One person was killed in Mishawaka last night when they were struck by a train while walking. The collision happened a little before 8pm in the 400 block of South Main Street. Two trains were on the tracks heading in opposite directions at the time of the accident. Rail traffic was stopped for a period due to the accident. The name of the victim has not been released at this time.
