Our church is currently raising funds for much-needed electronics and audio equipment, including microphones, headsets, and switchboards.
Have items you’d like to donate? Donation drop-off begins September 13th. Donation receipts will also be available for eligible tax-deductible donations.
Come shop, grab some baked goods, check out the vendors, enter a raffle, and help us upgrade the equipment we use to serve our church and community.

AND HER PROGRAM VOICES EMPOWERED

Caring Connection will present a special evening with
Epstein Survivor and Educator Jess Michaels Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 7:00 PM.
In her presentation, Ms. Michaels will share her experiences, how she survived, then thrived and offers help to individuals and communities on,
“… what to do when someone says, Me Too.”

The event will benefit The Empowerment Center of Caring Connection in providing support to victims of domestic and sexual assault in Berrien Springs.

Join ADEC as we celebrate FIVE DECADES of impact and create lasting memories alongside our neighbors with disabilities. In 1972, ADEC launched its first Ride A Bike event to support people with disabilities. Since then, it has grown into an ongoing source of support for the individuals we serve.

This year, we encourage our community to continue their participation, alongside our neighbors with disabilities, to raise funds for vital services while focusing on health and well-being.

Ride-A-Bike is more than a cycling event; it’s a celebration of empowerment. Our family-friendly bike loop will take you through multiple “Pedal Portals”, bringing excitement with every turn. For more advanced riders, the longer Pumpkinvine Trail extends from the main loop. Participants of all abilities ride side by side to raise essential funds for ADEC’s programs and services.

For those who want to simply enjoy the festival-like atmosphere, we will have inflatable activities, games, food trucks, giveaways, a transformation station and selfie stop, Art by ADEC, live music from Froggy 102.7, and more!

Join us for the Waverly Activity Center’s Hometown Hoedown, our big annual Dinner & Auction Fundraiser, on Saturday, October 10th!

Enjoy a fun evening featuring a barbecue dinner catered by The Q Wagon with all the fixings, music, entertainment, a silent auction, raffle, and plenty of hometown fun. The evening begins with our Front Porch Swing Social from 5:00–6:00 PM, followed by Dinner & Auction from 6:00–8:00 PM.
Individual tickets are $40, and seating is limited, so be sure to reserve yours soon!

Proceeds from this special evening will help the Waverly Activity Center expand the programs and services we provide to our community. By attending, you’re not only enjoying a great night out, you’re supporting a local nonprofit that works year-round to serve our neighbors and strengthen our community.

Haunted History: A Ghost Walk Brings Marshall County’s Darker Stories to Life
The past has a way of haunting us—especially when the stories are true.
The Marshall County Historical Society & Museum invites the public to step into the shadows for Haunted History: A Ghost Walk, an evening of chilling tales drawn from the history of Marshall County. This unique walking experience will explore stories of untimely deaths, tragic accidents and other unsettling moments from the county’s past.
As participants make their way through the Museum, knowledgeable storytellers will share the stories of some local residents whose lives ended unexpectedly, plus details about certain events that left their mark on the community.
Haunted History: A Ghost Walk will take place October 30 at 7:00 PM. Participants should expect an evening of history, mystery, and just the right amount of fright.
Following the Ghost Walk, guests can keep the spooky fun going with a special screening of the classic Mel Brooks comedy Young Frankenstein at The REES.

Get ready to kick off the holiday season at South Bend International Airport’s 15th Annual Bears in the Air Kick-Off Party!

For more than a decade, this community tradition has brought together local businesses, community leaders, and friends of SBN to make a meaningful difference in our community. Together, we’ve delivered more than 25,000 teddy bears to children in local area hospitals and we’ve contributed more than $116,600 to the Robert L. Miller Sr. Veteran’s Center.

Join us for an evening of food, drinks, music, holiday fun and giving back as we raise funds and work towards another record-breaking year! Your participation in this event helps put a teddy bear in the hands of a child in need of comfort, while also supporting our local Veterans.

Admission to the cocktail-style party is $40 per person at the door, or tables of 10 seats may be reserved in advance for $500. Tables are based on availability and must be reserved by November 25. There will be small bites, cocktails, music, and fabulous door prizes to enjoy. Parking in the long-term parking lot will be validated.
