This class will help you understand the warning signs of preterm labor, preeclampsia, heavy bleeding, and other complications. You’ll learn when to call your provider, when to head to the hospital, and how to speak up when something doesn’t feel right. Bring your village. Let's equip them to support you.

The St. Joseph County Department of Health presents Test and Treat in support of National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week. Join us at the Charles Black Center for fall-themed family fun, giveaways and lead testing for children ages 1-6. Every child lead tested will be entered into a raffle to win a prize! Prizes include tickets for ice skating at Howard Park, tickets for the Potawatomi Zoo, and restaurant gift cards. Costumes are welcome!

You’ll leave with real-world tips for eating, tracking, and advocating for your health.

This class covers what to expect physically, how to manage mood changes, and ways to adjust to life with your newborn. It’s a space for honest conversation, encouragement, and resources you can lean on.
