South Bend Trader Joe’s Announces Job Fair, Plans To Open In Late August

The South Bend Trader Joe’s is hosting an in-person job fair this week. The store has been under construction since last fall, and a store representative said the store is planning to open for business in late August.


Applications will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27 and Wednesday, July 28 as well as from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 29. Applicants unable to attend can also apply online.


The specialty grocery store is located at 1140 East Howard Street at the southern end of Eddy Street Commons.


Trader Joe’s was founded in 1967 in the Los Angeles area and has since expanded to more than 500 stores in 42 states and Washington, D.C.
