Former U.S. Ambassador Who Survived Kenyan Embassy Bombing To Speak In South Bend On Oct. 23 & 24

Former U.S. Ambassador to Kenya, Prudence Bushnell, survived the 1998 bombing of the Kenyan Embassy and on Wednesday, October 23 at 6pm she will speak at the Civil Rights Heritage Center in South Bend.

Bushnell will also lecture on the topic of Ethical Leadership and SMART Foreign Policies on Thursday, October 24 at 6pm at IU South Bend's Education and Arts Bldg., Rm 1011.  

A reception and book signing will follow the Thursday event . Bushnell has authored a book entitled Terrorism, Betrayal and Resilience: My Story of the 1998 U.S. Embassy Bombings.
