Goshen Mayor Gina Leichty said it be wasteful and irresponsible for the city to stop projects that the AmeriCorps colleagues have worked on after the Trump Administration abandoned the young adults.

AmeriCorps has partnered with MACOG locally and will have around 100 volunteers in town to help clean up Bowman Creek.

Goshen will grow a $30,000 pollinator sanctuary on the south side of the city in the hopes of bringing back bees and butterflies to the area.
