Under the Indiana's new privatized Adult Protective Services system, effective July 1, Michiana will go from having seven investigators four four counties to 11 investigators for 20 counties.

It remains unclear how moving Adult Protective Services to a for-profit provider July 1 will affect the number of investigators serving Michiana.
