South Bend Reparatory Justice Commission

After initially declining interviews on the issue, South Bend Mayor James Mueller on Tuesday held a press conference to talk about the South Bend Reparatory Justice Commission's report, after the commission formally presented it to the common council Monday night.

South Bend Mayor James Mueller won't publicly discuss the South Bend Reparatory Justice Commission's report because he says it's not finalized, but the commission says it is. The commission is waiting for Common Council President Canneth Lee to introduce the report to the council so they can start publicly discussing its findings.

The South Bend Reparatory Justice Commission hopes to receive feedback and input at two more public meetings, Aug. 9 and 23, before sending a final report to the common council by Dec. 31.
