Fair Oaks Farms released its own video response following footage showing animal abuse at the company’s operation.
Activist organization Animal Recovery Mission went undercover on the farm. The investigator documented employees harming animals and using illegal drugs
while on the job.
Fair Oaks co-founder Mike McCloskey apologized for the lack of protections for the animals on an operation that promotes sustainability.
He says the company is placing cameras around the operation to monitor animal
welfare.
Fair Oaks farms is one of the largest dairy producers in the country with about
30,000 cows on the farm.
