Elkhart Co. Health Dept. To Hold Vaccination Clinics Throughout Month Of May

The Elkhart County Health Department has announced several COVID-19 vaccination clinics over the next month, the first of which will be held tomorrow: 

May 11 (Tuesday)

  • Hours: 4-6 p.m.
  • Location: Millersburg Elementary School gym (203 E. Main St. Millersburg, IN 46543)
  • Vaccine type: Moderna
  • Eligibility age: 18 and older
  • Walk-ins: Yes

Second doses will be administered at the same time and place on Tuesday, June 8. Attendees are asked to bring any form of identification. Appointments aren't necessary, but if you'd like to schedule one, you can go to ourshot.in.gov. You can also call 211 or the Elkhart County COVID-19 Call Center at (574) 523-2106.

May 16 (Sunday)

  • Hours: 1-2:30 p.m.
  • Location: St. James AME Church (122 Dr. Martin Luther King Dr., Elkhart)
  • Vaccine type: Moderna
  • Eligibility age: 18 and older
  • Walk-ins: Yes

No appointments are necessary for this clinic. Second doses will be scheduled on Sunday, June 13.
May 20-22 (Thursday-Saturday)

  • Hours: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Location: Goshen High School (401 Lincolnway E., Goshen)
  • Vaccine type: Johnson & Johnson
  • Eligibility age: 18 and older
  • Walk-ins: No

This clinic will be sponsored by the Indiana Department of Health and FEMA (the Federal Emergency Management Agency.) Since it will offer the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine, no second clinic will be held. You can scedule an appointment at ourshot.in.gov or by calling 211.
