There are several watch parties happening in the area tonight for the first round of the Democratic primary debates.
The Sunrise Movement, a group of young people advocating to stop climate change is holding a debate watch party at the IUSB Community Building tonight. It starts at 8.
There’s also a debate watch party at the West Side Democratic and Civic Club, it also starts at 8.
For the second day of debates; which includes South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, there are also several parties.
One at the IUSB Community Building hosted by the American Democracy Project of IU South Bend. It starts at 8:30.
There are also many volunteer-organized watch parties for Pete for President supporters.
The debate begins at 9 on MSNBC.
