Saint Joseph Health System has joined many other healthcare institutions in relaxing its visitation guidelines.
A release from the health system says visitation policies vary by department and COVID status, but in general, the new guidelines let different visitors switch out throughout the day, and allow the same visitor to return multiple times a day.
The release says though COVID-19 case counts and hospitalizations have decreased, the virus still poses a challenge to the local community.
You can find SJHS's full list of visitor policies here. Visitation hours are 2 to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
