High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area

The LaPorte County Sheriff's Department's Highway Interdiction Unit looks to make drug and gun trafficking arrests on the Indiana Toll Road through observing routine traffic violations.

Police agencies in St. Joseph County say they welcome more federal money to enforce drug laws, on both highways and side streets.
