The city of South Bend will host informational sessions on redevelopment of the former Drewrys Brewery site on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Near Northwest Neighborhood Community Center from 6 to 8 p.m.

A developer tried to renovate the Lafayette Building in 2023 and 2024 but ultimately failed to secure financing, partly because of a fire in the 1930s in the basement.
