South Bend Bike Garage

The South Bend Redevelopment Commission on Thursday will consider a three-year lease with the nonprofit South Bend Bike Garage, to continue operating out of their new home on the long-vacant ground floor of the city's Wayne Street parking garage.

Bicycling advocates hope the new Go574 app will help entice more people to try pedaling to work next week, and riding for fun and exercise anytime.

The nonprofit South Bend Bike Garage started humbly in a Near Northwest Neighborhood garage and will soon occupy ground-floor retail space downtown.
