Hubbard Hill's Living Wisdom Center In Elkhart Holds Gala Featuring Olympic Gold Medalist Dan Jansen

Over the weekend Hubbard Hill celebrated the opening of its new Living Wisdom Center. The center creates what designers and leaders at Hubbard Hill feel is a new gold standard in memory care. Olympic gold medalist Dan Jansen spoke to guests Saturday evening after they had toured the center. Jansen not only talked about his personal story of losing his sister on the same day he was scheduled to race in the Olympics, but he also shared his family's story of dealing with his father's memory loss.

Hubbard Hill's CEO, Patrick Pingel, shared with those who gathered that an online virtual tour of the Living Wisdom Center has already gotten 80,000+ views. Hubbard Hill hopes the model that has been created for memory care by opening the Living Wisdom Center will be replicated in design and spirit elsewhere to offer more options for families dealing with a loved one with Alzheimer's and/or dementia.

Also recognized at Saturday's event was Arkos Design, the architecture firm that designed the Living Wisdom Center, and DJ Construction which took the designs and built it. WVPE's Diane Daniels was the emcee for the event.
