Beckwith Theatre Summer Youth Programin Partnership with Educational Talent Search
Participants will learn a play and perform it in 2 weeks!
Auditions: June 12 1pm-4pm & June 13 11am-2pm
Beckwith Theatre, 100 New York Ave, Dowagiac, MI
Free for all students entering 6th - 12th grade at any school.
Performing:How to Get Away With A Murder Mysteryby Don ZolidisFree performance dates: June 27 and 7pm & June 28 at 2pm
Participants will learn a play and perform it in 2 weeks. Our focus is students entering 6th to 12th grade, but other ages may be considered on a case-by-case basis. The program is open to any student of any district or homeschooled, not just Dowagiac students. We plan to allow every student who auditions to be included in the show. If we have more participants than performing roles, some roles will be shared. Backstage and production assignments are available for those who are not interested in performing. This program is designed to be a low-stress introduction to theatre. Beginners are encouraged to join.
There will be opportunities for actors, stage crew, lights/sound, costumes, etc. Please spread the word. We hope to see you there!

Uh oh, we lost Walden in the St. Joseph County Parks and need your help finding him! Every Friday in June, there will be clues posted on the St. Joseph County Parks' Facebook page as to where Walden is hiding within the parks. Find Walden, snap a photo, and submit them for a chance to win park prizes. *Regular gate fees in effect.

Play synopsis: Based on the classic board game, Clue, The Musical is a murder mystery that invites the audience to help solve the mystery of who killed Mr. Boddy, in what room, and with what weapon. Clue is a family-friendly delight from start to finish, a lovely and light 90 minutes of silliness.
Celebrate the longest day of the year with a serene, self-guided night hike! Roast a hot dog over the campfire and enjoy ice cold lemonade. Registration and payment of $5 per person required by June 18.
