Ages 8-18yrs are invited to join us for a three week puppetry workshop. Design, Build, and Perform with your puppet. There will be a final performance on March 28, at 2PM. This class is limited to 12 students!
March 7 & 14, 2-3:30PM – Design & Build
Build your own puppet (think Sesame St.) with artist Amanda Wagner, owner of Young at Art studio!
March 21, 2-3:30PM – Puppetry 101
Learn to bring your puppet to life with Goshen Theater Education Director Katie Barnes (I’m still waiting to hear back from Jonathan Bontrager-Waite on if he’s able to teach this class, but until then…) Create a short performance to share on stage!
March 28, 2PM Final Performance
Public Performance featuring you and your puppet!
Tuition$75 (Financial Aid available)Students receive two free tickets to the final performance with registration, as well as all materials to build their puppets.
Ages 18 years and older are invited to join us for a six week Musical Theater Dance Studio instructed by Tom Myers. Classes begin March 9, and end on April 13.
Adult Musical Theater Dance for the Mover Studio (Mondays 6:15-7PM) – This class is for every actor who has ever dreaded taking a dance call. Learn the basics of moving on stage to music and the stage presence needed to perform a musical number.
Adult Beginner/Intermediate Musical Theater Dance Studio (Mondays 7-8PM) – This class is for beginning and intermediate level dancers looking to practice their Musical Theater dance style skills.
