Indiana saw its daily COVID-19 cases spike to a new all time high yesterday of just under 1,500, at 1,497.
The Indiana State Department of Health says this is due in part to a lab reporting error that has been corrected. That correction resulted in the addition of 462 positive cases.
The state also reported 17 new deaths as of Thursday.
