Special prosecutor Christopher Gaal acknowledged an Indiana State Police investigation finding that former DuComb Center director Sharon McBride wasn't always at the work release facility during business hours, but says she wasn't required to be, as an exempt salaried employee.

Democratic former Monroe County Prosecutor Chris Gaal has been appointed special prosecutor to review allegations against Sharon McBride, and in another case, against county Republican Party Vice-Chair Marvin "Joe" Layne.
