Under a new Indiana law enacted this year, Notre Dame Law students and the Volunteer Lawyers Network Tuesday helped over 100 people seal past evictions to make renting housing easier.

A 2022 Indiana law lets courts seal some evictions but only 14% of courts informed eviction tenants of the option in a study of St. Joseph County courts last year.
