The Pitbull concert at Four Winds Field that was cancelled at the last minute in June has been rescheduled for Friday, August 16th.
Pitbull said he wasn’t able to fly to South Bend for the original concert because of severe weather in Florida, where he lives.
Joe Hart, President of the South Bend Cubs, said it was difficult to disappoint everyone who came out hoping for a concert.
“Our fans are extremely important to us and when we make a commitment, we want to follow through, and unfortunately we had some things outside of our control back on June 16th and we want to do everything we could to make it up to our fan base,” Hart said.
Hart also said Pitbull and his management worked hard with Cubs owner Andrew Berlin to reschedule the concert.

Fans who still have tickets from the original concert can exchange them at the Box Office for tickets to the new concert.
